Honda has officially launched the 2022 model CRF1100L Africa Twin and Africa Twin Adventure Sports in Europe with minor changes designed to refine the already stellar package that was launched in 2020. There is no word as yet on pricing or availability on the upgraded models in Australia.

Most significant are changes to the DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission), models that improve the way the bike performs in first and second gears, offering more stable riding at lower speeds.

On the base model AT Honda has gifted a rear aluminium rack which is not only practical for luggage handling but also provides a grab point for the bike that was glaringly absent previously. The Adventure Sport receives a slightly lower screen which remains height adjustable.

New colour options are available, so the Bold New Graphics box has been ticked.
The base model will wow the crowds sporting the new “Big Logo” design with a choice of Pearl Glare White Tricolour, Grand Prix Red or Matte Ballistic Black.

The Africa Twin Adventure Sports skips the red but be offered with a new “Cracked Terrain” graphic in Pearl Glare White Tricolour or Matte Ballistic Black Metallic.
