We head to the picturesque Victorian High Country to attend the Australian launch of the much-awaited Husqvarna Norden 901 and return with footage of the incredible landscape, an amazing bike and Damo crashing in a mudhole. In slow motion no less.
Touted as an adventure tourer, the Norden (Scandinavian for North), arrives with great expectations and a rich extended family tree of its own to contend with.

Will it fall short of Aussie expectations, or could it be the perfect formula for most riders? Is this a bike that BMW F 850 GS or Ducati Multistrada V4S buyers might want to seriously consider before they commit?
Will it struggle to fight the pull of the 890 Adventure R? We have a lot of questions, but the Norden 901 has a lot to offer. Let’s ride!
THE NORDEN 901 IN DETAIL

“Husqvarna has produced a true all-rounder with the potential to be moulded into a genuine offroad beast. The WP Apex is not as stiff as an 890’s Xplor in the early part of the stroke making it more comfortable and complaint in average conditions and less of a skill test to get the absolute best out of.“
